Evenin' all
Just realised, i've been here a month and still not posted on this thread.
I'm Tim, 34, and live in Manchester, England. I am an archaeologist by trade, specialising in the Bronze Age of the Aegean.
Collected Series 1 & 2 when i was younger, but as you all did, I grew up and put my beloved AF into the loft, blah, blah, blah.
Recently got them out and wham! I'm addicted again!
Anyway, great to be here.

No, its a great job - I get to work on Crete! I doesn't pay very well though, and i'm still looking for a University lecturing post, but they're hard to come by anyway, and with the recession and all...
If anyone has one going spare, I'll swap you for a complete Z Force Minesweeper in great condition!

Funny you should say that Sundance, if I'm in the field I do have a Fedora! (no Nazis, and no gun though
)
It can get pretty hot, with 50 degree heat and more, no shelter and on a bare hillside... it's amazing how quickly you start to feel it!
And beside, it looks pretty cool!
Off there again in November, when Crete is surprisingly like England weather-wise.

I have a brown waxed jacket that looks leathery for when i work in this country (does that count?)
But yes, I am a doctor, I got my PhD 3 years ago.
Maybe i should amend my online name to Dr Hopper!
