You are this forum's voice of Wisdom, T-Shot.
I also tend to prefer to play with less-articulated figures. Yes, I prefer the Hasbro charas because I grew up with them and  is cool and

is great and all that stuff, but at some points the articulation is excessive; if you put too much articulation on a figure so small, the parts will be so small that will tend to stay in the position or come off. Yes, I like to make some "gun-weilding poses" or "Ninja poses", but I tend to prefer my McDonald's

(my cowled

also has less articulation, but is "less articulation based on the more articulated" so keeps all the frailty and maybe more)

I've also noticed that too, the new Star Wars figures for instance, have great detail & articulation but are way too fragile..also the ball jointed figures are great for posing but the joints soon become very loose with just a little moderate wear 'n' tear..
Feels like this thread has become a little side tracked now...so

for

if gien suitable black camo' pattern & red highlights?

I gotta admit that Footloose is a good "ordinary" looking 80's U.S. infantry soldier, so is Dusty in his desert uniform...probably too American looking for

?

It's borderline. The jungle boots are a give away too. But would be fine atop the

ATC hosing down

with 40 milly.

hung onto all their Arctic kit in the desert, so

in his anti-flash hood would do just fine
Reminds me of the bad old good old days when Paras would beat up anyone wearing desert boots or Helly Hansen who weren't Paras. God that was a long time ago (before Helly Hansen went mass market)
