The final episode

I think this has been a great cartoon to watch and really hope they turn it into a proper series.

the mad dash away from both the Flagg and Springfield was a rip-off of ID4 and The Ultimates.

funny how Duke worries about cover only then and not when he was facing off with the Cobras in Omsk.

GI Joe really needs to equip its fighters with chaff and flares.

the retracting car park was very Thunderbirds...

but i still enjoyed it...

That was pretty good but since when did duke become a tech guy they should have had Mainframe or Dial-Tone try to shut down the HARRP but it was great seeing The Battle of Springfield in live action. Overall I hope this is just the beginning of something good maybe good enough to eclipse the Rise of Cobra.

that was hardly 'the battle of Springfield'. it was barely a skirmish!

Now that the series has ended (I watched the end last week and now I'm watching Bomberman Jetters) I'd like to comment it. Now, I'll review all seven Cobras and one Joe for each, a la "vs. pack". (SPOILER WARNING)

The dead guys:
:bludd: : His body appearance was very over-the-top. It was a desperate "Hey, look! We're violent! Will you watch us?". There shouldn't even be so many Blood! He was killed in Springfield! Also, his death was just that, a death. His treachery is neither well explained nor contributes anything to the rest of the series/movie.
Bazooka: He was a well-done corpse, up to the costume, so everyone knows the dead guy was Bazooka and not any greenshirt. His dead body even contained a message that contributed to the story.

The leaders:
:duke: : He was a jerk. The world is in danger and he uses that moment to make :scarlett: choose between  and himself. However, he was very clever in the last battle (that last idea was a little reminiscent to what Midnighter did in Authority #4). Oh, and other bad point: He killed a :ctrooper: who was already defeated. One thing is to kill in battle, but, if the :ctrooper: is on the floor, it's handcuffs time. Don't think bad, I liked :duke: in the original TV series.
:cobracommander: : Cool! He is really a great villain. I found a little over-the-top when he said "crap". The main villain should be more regal elegant (like :destro: and :baroness: ), but all the rest of the time he was great. I mean, he blew Moscow! That's a villain!

The ninjas:
 : Absolutely perfect, I can't say anything else (he neither).
:storm: : I didn't like him. For me, :storm: is the noble villain among :cobra: , but this version was very evil. I also like seeing :destro: , :zartan: and others being noble villains, but I don't find it something that defines them, except for... you guessed, :storm: , so this guy was, for me, the most despicable Resolute character. So good  killed him.

The co-leaders:
Flint: While Duke was in Omsk, Flint acted as leader, and was a lot better than :duke: (that's because Flint trusts Lady Jaye will never leave him for Cap Grid-Iron, while :duke: is unsure if :scarlett: prefers a cool ninja master or a jerk, Bwa-ha-ha)
:baroness: and :destro: : (I have to review them together) Very well done. The had an evil but aristocratic attitude, and they flirting was also very well. I like :destro: more with the noble streak he had in the Hamaverse, but I don't find it vital, so I liked the character. Well, both characters. And so good putting them together. I also liked they being incarcerated rather than killed (an "all baddies die" approach would have seem a bit unrealistic)

Counter-Intelligence vs. disguises:
:scarlett: : At the beginning, she was cool, and I even liked her deciding to stay "with the team" rather than with :duke: , but that went downhill when, in Omsk, she said she had chosen :duke: . Why, Shanna, why?
:zartan: : His scene in Omsk was very short, I didn't like the idea of a main character having a "hi-then-die" appearance. I think Ellis only used him there because he had already used him as the Hard Master's killer. However, he could have made Zartan just appear in the HM's death scene, just like :firefly: didn't appear after shooting :cobracommander: 's message.

Main comic characters, background TV characters:
:firefly: : His shooting abilities are awesome! sadly, he just appeared a little, so we couldn't see him in action. However, that has a good side: in case of a sequel, :cobracommander: still has him alive, just like :destro: and :baroness:
:afstalker: : His role was a little short, but clever; he saved the scientists while :roadblock: and :gungho: distracted :baroness: and :destro: . Despite the small role, it's good to see him animated again.

Sorry, I reviewed just 6 Joes, but I had to review :destro: and :baroness: together. Please, Baron, mercy!
