kinda. but the Harriers have wings too...

it's also kinda similar to the V-22 Osprey, except that also has wings to provide lift.

What's wrong with the futuristic gadgetry explanation? The guy has mutant clones and indestructible robots, don't forget.

And you don't need wings in space.

Yeah but iirc there are stories where it enters the atmosphere. AF was mostly believable but the Roboskull.... I'd accept the futuristic gadgetry explanation because it was part of the story. Just way to unbelievable for me. We have Dolly the Kraken now mind you and robots are used in combat too. ;)

Anyway here's my small force;

(With thanks to SteveD and Muton) Shadowtrak is coming along nicely. The left Hyena is a 25th and the right a Red Cobra one. Its my bad guy shelf.

The 25th Hyena looks really good.
When confronted by a difficult problem you can solve it more easily by reducing it to the question. How would the Lone Ranger handle this?

Maybe it could of been to be the start of something massive, like the robots out of Star Fleet or Power Rangers..you know, Roboskull acting as the head & some sort of tank for the torso..Jeeps for legs....one man armoured ski mobiles for arms....small boys playing footie in the park,jumpers for goal posts..um isn't it?

Than again it may of just been the Star Wars inspired fantasy craft we all know & (some of us) love.

Just thinking of how the Shadows were developing into more of a Sci-Fi/fantasy based toy line/enemy during wave 2, :kraken:, :skeletron: & co makes me ponder how more far-out they'd of became in later years if Palitoy had still been in business?

Perhaps Dave's research may reveal how wierd things could off gotten?
read my roboskull cannon fodder story when it comes up in a couple of weeks (i think it's #2, possibly #3) coz it's along these lines!

I love seeing everyone's enemy armies - just love all the red!

But TKW's - yours is very special, being almost entirely custom.

Very nice to see.

And I just love seeing your custom krakens every time! They so rock!

Cheers fella.
