Got a reply from Sears at last:

"The two soldier figures is 3.54 inches (9cm) in height."

Seems to be the right scale.

Doc, TKW and Baron, if you still want one please PM me, and see previous comments for the cost from Sears and the likely extortionate Canada Post postage rate, based on my guess at the box size (I'm worried that I may have under-estimated that too). I don't know if combining postage would prove cheaper or if that would more likely incur the attention of customs (it's easier to pass off one of these as a gift than four of them). In the usual BFTB spirit there'd be no extra costs added by me.

I'd aim to order these and let you know when they arrive with me. I can then get a definite postage cost from the local post office and we can settle up before they get shipped them on to the UK/ROI.

From the back of the box that these come in:

Manley (R)
18275

818 Cheung Sha Wan Road
Hong Kong

Barcode: 0 26753 18725 6

A quick web search brings up this page: (Edit - doh! - link now available)

http://www.hktdc.com/sourcing/manufactu ... imited.htm

Which gives a contact person and phone number for the manufacturer. Hopefully they can point to a European retailer for these things ('cos mail from Canada is not cheap).
