i like it here! and i'm a newbie.

just out of interest is there a rough price guide to boxed and carded AF items. Being new to buying boxed stuff its hard to know whats a good price, and what to offer sellers.

Any ideas?

there isn't or so i believe a palitoy guide book, but there is a gi joe book, but it's only priced in dollar's and with the poor monetary unit at the moment it would prove difficult to translate, i expect the chaps on here would be a better source of information, but don.t ask me as i managed to haggle up today on some bits i was buying, i'm still in shock.

I repeatedly asked you lot to simply PM me with offers, but instead I got moaning....so, ebay it will be.
Judging by the feedback you have received as a seller on ebay, I dont think its a case of us moaning about high prices, its seems more a case of you moaning about low prices !

It has been politely suggested that your attitude is an issue, yet you are still "blaming" us ?

Reading your responses to negatives you have received as a seller ....... who is moaning over prices here ?

"STINGY PRAT WANTS ITEMS NEXT TO NOTHING. PAID AND GOT ITEM-TOTAL IDIOT"

"BASICALLY WANTED ITEM FOR NEXT TO NOTHING. GET A LIFE SADDO!"

"YEP. ADMIT IT. YOU WANT STUFF FOR NEXT TO BLOODY NOTHING? GET A LIFE SADDO."

And your perfect? Why didn't you post all the other positive feedback I've received as well? Theres two sides to all ebay transactions, and Im sure you've had your fair share of arseholes who ruin a simple transaction and then decide to leave you crap feedback that only results in trying to put your point across? No? Well then you must be perfect. Yep, really friendly here.

No Im not that desperate to sell stuff off. No I haven't lost my job. I don't work and having been a home carer for my old man for the past 2 years have decided to take it at a leisurely pace.

For everyone to keep saying 'we are only trying to point out your prices are high', fine, fair enough, but five pages? On and on and on.....I had said if you wanted to negotiate then please do, and via PM, but instead Im getting criticised again and again. If I farted would that result in being told Im being rude or agressive?

The irony being is that when the forum first started out, it had a far smaller audience, in those days I was interested in swopping stuff, but now with a big collection I really have no interest in doing so....hence offering it up for sale.....

However, like its been suggested by the friendly peeps here ebays a better option, Im no doubt sure you'll post some whinging threads about sf1378s prices once they go up there? No doubt another 5 pages worth of 'polite vitriol'....

Yep, I've made a tit of myself by asking if you lot would have been interested. Instead of simply leaving it alone you've all continued to stir the shitpot again and again. Fair do's chaps....Im in no hurry to shift it all. And as LadyJaye so 'kindly' said, ebay it all when I feel like it...no loss to anyone including myself.

The negatives were because you refused to go through with an auction because the price wasnt high enough ! thats not other people being awkward ? I was only trying to prove a point.

all that aside, I can see your side and this thread has got a bit out of hand !

I dont think anyone here is trying to be awkward, and as you say non of us are perfect.

only trying to help....

No.

Thats good then. I ate a Carbonarra and had some bread and butter pud for dessert with vanilla custard so I've been parping for England.... :breaker:

To bring the matter to a conclusion, I'll upload pics sometime.....the prices listed for the figures can be scrapped and if anyone does decide to make offers they can, otherwise I'll sell the load of figures as a joblot-well, thats how the pics were taken with all the figs laid out as such. Out of curiousity, whats the ballpark you lot would offer for a joblot of figures such as these?

Sadly, I've decided to keep the Cobra Troopers and Officer, they told me they liked living at my gaff so I could hardly kick them out.....

my advice would be to scrap this thread and start over ?

I think everyone here is eagerly awaiting your pics.......

Its difficult to put a price on a job lot, I suppose people price things differently depending on what they want/need out of it.

personally I think you would be better off selling each item individually ?
