Great! send me an email or a PM, lets make a movie! (a short one)The Baron wrote:I was going to reply to you, I was approached by a team of UK cosplayers a few months back but now it looks like their page has been taken down. I believe it was a UK offshoot of Cobra 1st Legion.

This isn't being sarcastic by the way. I sometimes feel collecting has got a bit slow / stale for me personally and the RORC figure always gets me excited like Xmas eve 1985 all over again!!

Re: Roll Out Roll Call 2014
Slight correction it is a BFTB figure produced by the Baron.
In the same way as last year the Strobo figure was a Mattel exclusive, clear distinctions need to be made as money for RORC and or future events are not funded by these exclusives, money goes to the respective producer of said items.
Not being picky please don't take it the wrong way.

It does?gung-hoeddie wrote:money goes to the respective producer of said items.

Yes, joking aside, my figures are done non-profit for the love of the community.

Yep. Last thing I want is Dave Tree suing me!
RORC is by ATCS not BFTB

RORC is by ATCS not BFTB

Re: Roll Out Roll Call 2014
Just to clarify in case anyone is getting confused.
I think where Eddie is coming from is that the figures Baron creates do not help towards making Roll Out Roll Call happen, if folk want to support the show, the best possible way is to come.
This is the fifth year of creating something that for years many of you have asked for.
It costs several thousand, genuinely.
The show is financed in one of three ways, Ticket Sales, Exhibitor Revenue and Merchandise Sales. Any shortfall comes from one pocket and one pocket only - mine.
The advance costs of the show also come from one pocket and sure you can guess who's that is too
There is no external support and each show so far has cost me more financially, let alone the hours put in to create it in the first place.
It is applauded that the previous figures are done for non-profit and the benefit of the community, but sadly the cost of venue, travel costs, accommodation, design, printing, advertising, sustenance etc don't come free and revenue needs to be generated to meet those costs, so I really do need you folk to come in order to keep it going.
I hope that makes sense and hope that many that have yet to come do 'take the plunge' and decide to come this year. I guarantee that you will have a blast, make better friends of those that you know here already, make new friends, learn and see an awful lot more. With the G.I. Joe Collectors Club providing product this year, there's a REAL opportunity to let them know how much demand there is for more Action Force products (joining the Club helps a lot too).
I would like to see BFTB lead the way in community meet up's at the show, everything is there for one, it's in your collective hands to help make it happen
