Yup, the Airworthyness ticket is being taken away, the company who own it no longer think it is safe to fly / maintain. This has been its farewell tour.

I figured it had to happen sooner or later. Cost goes up, insurance goes up etc, etc......

Aye that's why I got my arse into gear to go & see her perform, fortunately I booked well ahead this time (I usually wait until the day to see what the weathers like) as tickets soon sold out.
The Vulcan gave an impressive show, Old Warden's a small airfield so the display had to keep slow & bank real sharply... lots of power & lots of noise!
Still sorting my pic's out, another highlights was seeing the freshly restored Bristol Blenheim

Another nice pic, Ed. If you have a look through my FB crap one of the mobs I follow did the restoration of the Mossie. Also a photographer who does all the air shows in NZ, Strikemasters and Vampires etc. Including aerial shots. Just stunning stuff but your shots are just as good IMHO.

I believe he was Paul.
Here's the info on the recent V-Force tour:

Your most kind Mark, the camera does the hard work.. I simply point the thing. I bet your pic's are way better than you make out, I take a nosey.
Storch v Gladiator, recreating the sort of battle they would of had in the early desert conflict, the Storch was simply too nimble for (the faster) Gladiator to get a bead on:
Sea-fire & Sea Hurricane:
Spitfire PR XI (?)
Avro Anson

Nah Ed, it takes something special to know where to point it.
Paul, I'll do an Airshow photo dump soon. I haven't posted any in about 3 years because I've been to so many its daunting. I went to some museams in NZ too, including a toy museum, and I really should put em up for you guys to enjoy.
As for the blunty, the pics are on the companies facebook page. I'll see if I can link them here.
