The satchel doesn't look out of place @ all on the classic (more convincing than the old ammo box) & that weapon looks more realistic & the sort of thing they would carry in the old comic.

As far as the Americans: the majority of American has never crossed the border. To them there is no society outside the US and this reflects in their sometimes rather irritating 'we rule' or 'our way or the highway' behaviour.
