Nice one Jaye, thanks Steve.

Well I've been chasing this up all morning, just got the estimate from the garage £675 all in
Going to have to though it with insurance, the high price is thanks to the fact the whole door will have to be totally resprayed, & being a mica colour it aint cheap.

I've reported it to the Police who I have to say were helpful & sympathetic ( the Police lady who looked the car over was very attractive), but I doubt anything will come of it..@ least it's help with my insurance claim as I've got a incident number now.

It's just a pisser really, £150 excess to pay & I'll lose %20 of my no claims bonus next time I renew, but I just can't afford the money that the repair would cost without it.

Nice Supra :) . Are those Indiana Jones figures? Need to get me some of those, I really like them. You gonna paint 'em red?

It is a bit of a sh*tter about the insurance, but sadly that is how insurance co's work - if we can't claim of someone (ie the c*ck who did the damage), we will penalise you.

I tore a hole in my passenger side door skin on my Honda Type R. Silver metallic - got it panel beaten, filled and sprayed and nobody could tell it had damage (even my Dad, who used to be a paint sprayer!).

Even my 87 Sierra - Diamond white, but colour slightly faded by 23 years of sunshine, and when I got some marks touched up on that they are unnoticeable, unless you look really hard. Take it to a good paint shop - remember - you get what you pay for - or in this case - what the Ins Co pay for!
Ah yes, I remember my old Sierra well - lots of fun on a wet roundabout, whether you wanted to have 'fun' or not.
