Phew, glad I didn't watch PP. I haven't seen Back to Earth yet either, I'm saving it for a
special day. might have to hurry up now. ;-)

I have all the follow up's on disk but not watched them either. Knight Rider 2000, the movie,2008, 2008 series. I was never a fan tho. I much preferred BJ and the Bear.

2 more impending remakes doomed to failure, The Tripods and dammit I just forgot the other.

Hey Monkfish, you might be able to help. I remember watching a show in the early 80's. It was a Canadian show and all I can remember about it was that there was a white and Yellow Beaver seaplane and possible something to do with cutters. Ring a bell?

Sorry Chopper, Paul, I can't remember it (although it rings a vague bell) and I was in England back then (only been here a few years). Not seen a repeat like that yet and the Canadians are usually extremely keen to promote home-grown programming against the fierce blaze of the output from the Neighbour to the South. But I'll ask around, see who knows the name.

Thanks Monkfish, its been bugging me for years, least i'm not the only one that is getting Alzheimer's ;-). I remember they used to spend a lot of time around coastal inlets and a CB was used frequently as their main communication. I don't think they were too close to any major cities. It was MUCH better than Degrassi ;-)

Was it "The Beachcombers"?

BINGO. That was it. Righto, off to ISOHUNT. Mate you are a genius. Fark, how many seasons? 1972, a good year too. ;-)

While we are at it, there used to be a Pommy show that had a girl caught in a board game, mid 80's. She was being hunted by a witch. The witch used to call her "Clever clogs". Anyone? Bueller? Anyone?

I recently tracked down another couple of shows I used to watch, "The ghosts of Motley hall" and "Tales of the golden Monkey". Why, oh way is this stuff forsaken? Homage.

I can vaguely remember watching TOTGM, I know I used to enjoy it but is it actually any good?

I also loved The Box of Delights.

Chopper I think you're describing T-Bag the witch - on her wiki it gives the individual series' titles.

Baron I got the Box of Delights to watch with the kids around Christmas a couple of years ago. A bit like Humby mentioned elsewhere recently, my eldest two weren't as enamoured with it as our generation were (and I still am), but the youngest liked it a lot what with all the talking animals. I think the older two probably felt let down after all my hyping it up and their discovery that it wasn't a CGI fest like they're used to.

Dunno jim. But I've just finished downloading it. ;-) Time to find out, well, after Buck Rogers.

Never heard of the Box of delights, if only time was more abundant. ;-) Too much to watch and not enough time to watch it. And I don't watch anything on free to air aside Top Gear any more.

Oh, a recent one that had my wetting myself was "The In-betweeners". Absolute f*cking A-grade humour. And I thought it was dead.

Bang on again Monkfish. I shall prepare a medal. As fer missing generations, there are some shows my 2 just won't get into. Such is life.
