I'm still puzzled by this game, I'm not entirely sure what triggers a new line to drop, and what the shift is when it does, I think the bottom row moves one notch to the right or something. Is it just completely random, or am I missing a pattern?

I was puzzled by it too - read the rules and every time you fire a ball up without making any disappear you lose a "life" and after 5 or so of these a new line appears... the lives are shown at the bottom of the screen.

I got myself down to 2 colours , tried to build my score up by crafty playing and the fecker shifted about 8 rows down in one go
Saw the guy who initially showed it to me last night and he proudly showed a print of a score around the 18000000 mark!
And I thought I had spare time on my hands.....................................
