The new Action Man stuff has been launched in the UK now, exclusive to Tesco.
Only 5 released so far and no Dr. X yet.

He's still an "eco-warrior" instead of a soldier though.

I see there are some annuals in the page too. Any info about the stories inside?

If you go through the official action man site and choose different languages you see different toys. There's a re-issue of Skateboard Extreme out in Poland I think that has the old Bullet Holes Action Man logo on his t-shirt, very cool.

Some of the annuals I don't actually have yet but for the ones I do have I've posted the table of contents and will eventually get round to scanning the stories in.

I just cant help but feel that these modern "Extreme" Action Men look far more like Ken from Barbie than the AM we know and love. Nice to see the name continuing, but I'd still loads prefer to see a return to military feel.

as far as i'm concerned, the last decent Action Man figures were the one in desert camies and the one in woodland camies from around 1992/93 time. back when he had actual GUNS that were supposed to fire actual bullets and he looked like an actual SOLDIER.

not all this f*cking 'Xtreme Mission' bullshit or worse, that ATOM crap.

wish I'd bought them two...

Yeah, that was necessary.

Obviously everybody else posting in the Action Man: Hasbro forum feels otherwise.
