The ship was from Tesco's. Not a famous range.
Andy, in Disney's Treasure Planet the ships are open deck like yours with their own atmosphere. You could always add some small posts that act as emitters for the force field if its nagging you. Personally though I think its self explanitory just by looking at it. Mate you are BFTBs very own Justin Lee Collins for bringing back the 80s (and 70s).

Cheers Ed, the solar panels are made from 3mm perspex with shiney silver fablon stuck on.

I used thin strips of black gaffer tape to create the panel effect.

Andy, this is excellent! Possibly the most ambitious custom I've seen on bftb and you pulled it off perfectly! Space force must be sh*tting bricks!

How about a space smurf goldfish bowl style helmet for the monkey (if you can find one?)

I know - and the helmet used to crack too! That's the sort of thing that'd be spot on though I'd have thought. I'm sure I've seen one of our lass's many lotions and potions with a see through round lid that might work. I'll go rummaging...

 Andy is far more tolerable than that hairy bastard JLC is what I call a small doses person prolonged exposure to him may lead to strangulation.

Clearly an insane genius at work!
I love the UberMuton, but most of all the Space Force figurehead.
