Just had a quick look on Amazon UK and the good news is that Best of Battle will be available in paperback hopefully soon:

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Best-%2522Battl ... 793&sr=8-1*

The better news is that there are over 300 pages in it**.

The best news is it's Volume 1 so we can expect more to come.

(*That link could change so search Amazon UK for Battle Comic if it doesn't work.)

(**Although in another part of the blurb it says 288 pages but who's gonna care about mathematical accuracy?)
That has been on my wish list in amazon for nearly a year now and still no hint of when it is being released. :-?

Ah well, first time I'd found it and got all excited. The line in product details that says "Publisher: Titan Books Ltd (26 Jun 2009)" had me thinking it could be quite soon. I'm hoping that's meant to be the date it began printing, but that is just a guess.

no, that's the release date. Amazon are sh*t like this sometimes. they post one release date and then when the release is put off, tehy take ages to change it. had it happen to me at least half a dozen times with Trek novels, Ultimate Marvel trade paperbacks and other books...

The best of Battle has finally arrived.
whsmiths £6.49 I bought it with Charley's war so it was free postage, under £15.00 postage is extra.
I also got £1.31 back from both books through Topcashback

Amazon is £6.99 I am not sure if it is free postage though if you just want that book but there is no cashback from amazon.

f*cking awesome, Tintin. I got the comic and it was a great read, but this looks fantastic. I wish they hadn't used a Annuals cover tho.
