Hi, I'm another one who's been using the site for a while so thought I'd better introduce myself. I'm Jon, I'm older than I care to remember (34 in a couple of month's time), and I'm nominally a geologist (though I seem to do various other jobs as well). Some members might have come across me as Nickel1995 on ebay - thanks to everyone I've recently bought stuff from.
I used to love Action Force toys as a kid but of course gave them up when other things (girls, school, university) got in the way. Hadn't really thought about them much for a few years but I got bored one day and stumbled across the website. All I can say is thanks - you've now got me spending lots of money recreating my childhood and I wish I'd done it years ago. Favourites are

Z-Force and the

Enemy - have started to get some fairly good armies together so hopefully some pictures when I get a few more.
My first figure was the commando from Series 1 but I really wanted the British Marine (thanks to that stupid TV advert) - first series 2 was the Z Force Captain (and he's still my fave figure

).
Thanks to everyone on the Forum for the nostalgia........

Well, I'll introduce myself too then.
I am 21 years old. I had a lot of gi joe when I was younger and collected untill I was 13. Got into deejaying and stuff and still am. But a year and a half ago I saw a lot of Gi joe on ebay. I don't know why but I bought it. Immediately I fell in love again and started collecting again. All the figures I had from when I was a kid were in excellent shape and complete so that was a good start.
Now, I lack 30 figures from 82-90 and started collecting action force too. I really like action force too and hope to get them all as well. I've made a website to speed up trades and stuff, check it out

I ran into a guy from Holland a year ago on through ebay and he had a forum. He asked if I wanted to become a moderator there and of course I agreed. It's a nice and very active forum with over a hundred members and like 50 posts every day. Be sure to check it out, we will have a site online like yojoe in a couple of weeks.

Hope to have a good time here too

My name is Neal. I was born in 1971, so that makes me one of the old gits around here. I am a small collector and trader. My collection mainly focusses on 70ies and early 80ies action figures for nostaligia reasons.

Hi,
I'm David, 30, from Waterford(Ireland). I was a major fan as a kid in the eighties and as usual, everything got relegated to the attic as I grew up. About 4 years ago I was surfing the net and stumbled across a GI Joe site. This let me to scour the parents attic to see what was left up there. All my childhood collection was up there and I decided to see I could sell it on ebay. as soon as I logged on I started buying instead of selling and I haven't stopped yet, although these days I'm mostly buying classic GI Joes. I only collect boxed or carded items in order to open them and get a mint specimen.

Well i'm 34 and i been Collecting 3 3/4" Star Wars since 1980. Started on 3 3/4" G.I.Joe's in 1984. Then branched to other 3 3/4" to 4" Action Figure lines over the years. Many Different Lines!
Was always a fan of the History of the 12" G.I.Joe and 12" Action Man History. Even bought several Books on 12" G.I.Joe's and even a 12" Action Man book. But I don't collect any 12" Figures...
Got into the Action Man Action Force figures from Palitoy in the early 1990's... A Place here in the USA used to carry G.I.Joes and at times Action Man Action Force... So i bought them when i could.
Got on the web in 2000 and have bought more Action Man Action Force figures now off eBay... So i will always collect them. Hoping to Complete them someday? My Favorite figure here at the Moment is "Kraken" Got to love that Lizard Man!
Far as what i do? Nothing but Collect Action Figures! The more the Better. Just need more room to store them. He! He!
I'm in the USA and i'm Captain-DC Steel Brigade Trooper Always!

Well, I am an Action Force Addict. It has been 16 years since my last purchase.
I am a Kiwi living in Australia, been collecting since I was about 12. Computer Technician by trade. I got my figures out last year, and stumbled on this site. I have been repairing my figures over that time. I actually joined the AF club was given the Codename Chopper

. Hence the username.
I love the SAS/Z/Space/Q force era, and first generation AF mostly. They became a little more unbelievable after that.
As a kid I had friends who would travel to Englend and get figures for me, I bought nearly every issue of Battle AF in the local book shop, when the free figures came out. Great fun and games. Was dopey enough to throw the BAF comics out in a move a few years ago. Kept the Holiday Specials and Annuals tho. Thanks Baron;-).
The wife thinks I am crazy, I know I am. Anyway, SAS Rocks.

Hi i'm Matt just turned 30 and starting to get into actionforce again in a big way (to my girlfreinds bemusement).
Just brought a near mint red laser and the look she gave me was so funny.
By the way i got my first Action Force figures through a mail in offer off the back of crisp packets (can't remember which ones).
Am now amassing a huge army of red shadows to help in my evil schemes. (bwa haa ha ha ha ha)
When not plotting world Domination i work as a postman.

Hi, I'm Matt, 26, form Leicestershire. I got into the Palitoy AF through my older brother, and had a few bits and bovs, but in all honesty, I was more a child of the Hasbro/Marvel era.
Most of my Palitoy collection was Q Force, including the swordfish, as well as a few bits of SAS - Shark and Stake-Out being two of my favourites.
Still have the vast majority of the toys I had (most in "well-used" condition), and I'm just starting to get all of the marvel comics again - doncha just love ebay?
