had you waited until tomorrow and bid in the last few seconds you may well have won it for £25.

Wise words, Bill. In fact I only ever bid on something early if I don't want the item removed early (whilst it doesn't stop that it makes it harder to do). Otherwise bid with less then 60 secs to go (and I have still been outbid but rarely cared)
