Do we have a new :shadow: Shadow Bandit :?: as it seems Johnigoe73 either didn't bid or was outbid by the winner bambambambamboomeranka :-?

Catchy user name! How much did it go for?

Seems loose without acessories is dipping back to around £10 mark. With full accessories seems to be almost double that.

There's an idea actually - I may just build a virtual Shadow army using Muticons!

it's pants really, especially for the genuine collector who can't get a sniff for love nor money.

But whos to say hes not a genuine collector? He may be lurking on here and just not want to get involved, happy in his own collecting... If I had the money I would pay that much for them just to rip the heads off to customise them but I can only afford what I can afford so I buy different things and increase my shadow army in other ways such as trading etc... At one point I may have been responsible for driving the price of krakens up as I bought quite a few complete figures in the space of a few months...

At the end of the day several people at the very least are willing to pay a lot of money for these, its not only johnigoe or whoever driving up the price, someone else has to bid #25 for it to get to #26 etc... I think there are positives, the main one being that there are a lot more shadows out there to buy because people see they can get a good price...

That works out @ about £8.67 each (+ postage?).. much more than I'd be willing to pay, but not way over the top I guess..I mean how much would it cost to buy that many modern action figures @ Toys-r-us today?

With so many loose & incomplete :shadow:'s kicking about, will we see a run on :enemy: weapons packs & loose bazoka's any time soon as well?

Why buy bazookas and ammo boxes when you can equip them with other guns from marauderinc etc?

Depends on the buyers I suppose,& on how authentic you want your collection to be..I know personally that I'm one of them people who just has to have 100 % correct weapons (where possible) & accessories..even if I think that an army of Bazooka weilding :shadow: 's looks very unrealistic.
Whereas most people are just as happy to go for down the Marauderinc line & have modern & realistic looking weapons & armies..but then I'm one them sad types, who have to have the "correct" coloured weapon that was issued for each Star Wars figure

I wholeheartedly agree tkw. I've only been a member here for a year or so, but I put my collection together for five years or so. For years I couldn't join here due to no pc at home and restricted access at work.
And then I joined up, and the tone went downhill steadily from there.

I'd hardly describe the fall of BFTB as going "downhill steadily". More of a plummet, really.

Wow! I just checked and bambambambamboomeranka sniped all three at ONE SECOND REMAINING!!!
