It was actually released in Japan as part of the DZ-04 diorama base.

I bought that and DZ-01, DZ-02, DZ-03 and DZ-05 for a couple of hundred quid several years back. To my dismay they were nothing like the picture on the box!

Wow..That looks truly amazing,so what did it really look like when you finally got it Baron?.

Forgive my ignorance as I don't know much about Zoids, but are they Big in japan? I liked the Mavel comics story, and only had around 4 or 5 of the smaller toy's, I used to play with them with my HO/OO airfix soldiers & Matchbox tanks..

Was they a back story to the Japan toy line, like Transformers?

Well, see how they're made up of square segemnts? The box contained about four. You'd need ten sets to build that! Then look at the cool metal-effect weathered paintjob. Replace it with white, black and bright orange. Same for the figures. See those cables and wires running between structures? Bin those. Oh, and take away the Zoids while you're at it. I was gutted.

Maybe you can sell it to johnigoe for a obcene profit..? I think its a cover name for Hasbro,who are stocking up for the new collectors club exclusives.
