Was it Locoscript? I know someone who'll convert it for you.

It was a disk formatted for either a Brother GW-25 or a Starwriter..., those were the machines I favoured at the time. Mind you, the Brother is still going strong.
Have to see if I can find the disk!
Thanks for all the interest. I just hope that if I find it, the writing isn't too childish. It's weird how your writing style evolves over the years, and it's sometimes strange to look over your old work. Recently though I keep daydreaming scripts for an

tv show...

... I found my Biggs Darklighter disk...!
It opens in Notepad... but it doesn't half look funny. I guess the program isn't 100% compatible...
Kind of funny reading it, like looking through a time-warp at something written by someone else!

i like The Clone Wars and the only books I've bought since NJO ended are the Republic Commando series. as far as I'm concerned all that guff in the Legacy of the Force series didn't happen.
and George can say what he likes, but the books got licensed and so they are out there and i enjoy them and bugger what he says. just because they're not 'canon' doesn't mean i can't enjoy them.
no different to Trek books. and some of them are better than the damn shows and movies were.

In that case you should check out
Star Trek; Strangers From The Sky, it's brilliant!

My guess SC someone at Dark Horse put your idea on a backburner and when the S.E.s came out it was the perfect time. But this reminds me of quite a few years back, i was at Lords watching a test match and sitting next to me was a guy who claimed to be a writer/producer.Anyway i was telling him about my dog and the way he could eat chilli and curries, would only sit in the passenger seat of the car when only the 2 of us were in it etc.... About a year and half later the film K9 was released were the dog in it had alot of the perculiar characteristics of my dog.Strange coincidence?

It certainly does irk, doesn't it? But at least it's not just me! I know Dark Horse had the legal rights and I didn't... but how the Hell else do you get started? Well... I guess I just need to write something else instead...

Do you have any way of dating your original idea?
