Okay soooooooo

I couldnt find a/the thread discussing the hints for the Official GI JOE Convention done by the GI JOE CLUB anywhere so I will post the first two hints here in this thread

Hint 1:
"Imagine something old and something new, something foreign and nothing blue."

Come on this has to be :

The Red Shadows are old (Palitoy), and new (DDP). Something foreign (not released in the US) and nothing blue (RED Shadows).

Hint 2:
"I see my image reflected back and who is that person not wearing black."

so hes no longer wearing black as he is the new leader of "The................Red Shadows"... Could it be!? The Black Major! (Quite possibly Wilder Vaughn.)

Come the end of January I'm willing to bet the third hint released also confirms the suspicions

now if that isnt the RED SHADOWS Ill be majorily surpised!

what this is , is still unknown!

These clues get more and more like something off the Crystal Maze each time.

It's the UK Toy Fair at the end of January, the first toy show of the year to unviel the 2009 range. There could be every chance there might be something on show there, last January the big Hasbro release was Clone Wars, but there was a huge embargo on any information being released until the New York Toyfair as they did not want to steal the NY show's thunder.

Hasbro UK does not currently stock 25th, however as they range toys around movie releases here, they may well include the range to retail as it's all pre-release hype.

Long shot, but just a thought and I'm up there on the Thursday.

The preview book for the UK Toyfair is out, and Hasbro UK will be featuring GI JOE movie toys as it mentions the three big movie highlights for boys toys are GI Joe, Transformers 2 and Wolverine, so there is every possibility that something may be on show.

Sadly it's not open to the general public, it's trade only and even then it's difficult to gain access to certain stands unless you have special access as an employee, buyer or invitation.

Dave.

Looking forward to all three of those. And hoping Megan Fox (fox by name and by nature) will be in Transformers.

SHE POPS UP AGAIN!

originally reported by The Terror Dome here:

http://www.theterrordrome.com/2009/04/r ... -revealed/

TaoBao seller xingzhangijoe has posted an interesting auction featuring an unknown Scarlett figure reminiscent of the Quarrel from the U.K. Action Force line. Rumor has it that this figure is/was part of a Resolute comic pack featuring Arctic Scarlett vs. Cobra Commander. Whether or not we will ever see it in retail is unknown.

Nice figure. Straight-up repaints renamed to other characters with no recipe changes at all drive me nuts but I can see the appeal anyway. Too bad her and Glenda-Scarlett couldn't have kept the blonde hair to maintain all their individual intergrity though.
