I don't normally like US sitcoms (Dad's Army and Open All Hours are more my thing), but Frasier was eleven years of pure genius.
Peri Gilpin's voice made my knees go funny too...
i hate the character frasier but loved the show
cheers was classic comedy as well

Hello zakkfan old buddy,
the classics, now that's what I'm talking about! Classic BSG and "iddy biddy biddy" Buck Rogers. But B5 and Trek are tops for me. And the 1979 Flash Gordon cartoon...
As for the Neighbours fans...

if we're talking buck rogers and flash gordon then it has to be Larry "Buster" Crabbe in the 30s serials! along with the republic serials like radar men from the moon and the whispering shadow.

I do have Season 1 of War of the Worlds but I have no way to copy it for you. I bought it off e-bay a month or so ago for I think $12 (US) shipped. If you have patience someone will list one without a buy it now and they usually go for a song.

Yes War of the worlds was a TV show that ran for 2 seasons though Season 2 had almost no continuity with Season 1.
