There's one on ebay!!!!
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/GI-JOE-ACTION-FOR ... dZViewItem
Lead bidder has a zero rating, so will probably up the cost to be in front up to the final moment - exercise caution!

Cheer`s Baron.
I did actually have this on watch & I do know Jellyrat (first person who bidded on it).
Though with this "0" rated buyer bidding I`ve been put off,as we know some parasidic sellers have false accounts just to up the orice of the item.
So alas as said I`m not watching it now, though again Baron thank`s

warm welcome...
I've just joined the site and am a bit gutted that my first post is this one. I've been selling and buying on ebay for a few months now and have a 100 per sent perfect feedback. Not quite sure what you're inferring but if you or anyone has concerns about my ebay account the I imagine that ebay has policies to deal with these accusations rather than besmirching my character in such an open forum.... thanks.

First off welcome to the site,Secondly I didn`t actually say you had done that. I said some have done that.
Big differnece there, sorry if that offends you just I`ve been bitten by this myself in the past,so when I see a "0" bid a lot I get wary about it.
Again I didn`t say you had done that,I said SOME do that.
Also I`m a 100% Ebayer too,so I can prove I`ve been honest in all my dealings too.

Welcome aboard Box, and hey that doesn't read like an accusation to me at all, more of a fact of life / theoretical discussion. There are lots of sharks out there and we all have our horror stories, I expect you do too.
Oh, and as for ebay's policies, they are utterly useless, basically resorting to being completely ignored for ages, then to send you a standardised "have you tried contacting the thief by e-mail?" clearly having not read your initial complaint which is instantly followed by "Ebay handling opinion needed" where they offer you the opportunity to fill in 30-page questionnaire about the excellent service you didn't get. Laughable.
gah....
Anyway, man, please have a gander round the forum, you'll soon see that the primary drive of us all is a love of 3 3/4" retro soldiers (although we still can't agree on the best range). Even reading the three pages on this thread alone you'll get an idea of the mania that goes on here. I hope you decide to stay, you are most welcome here.
And now to business, do you have any more of those kickass Chinooks?

Re: warm welcome...
First off: There was not any remark referring to you in person. No one is setting you in a bad light. It was just a fact that there are many persons on ebay that have that policy. But that doesn?t mean that you had it. And secondly I think you reacted with a way to little fuse. In my opinion you overreacted a little bit. Sorry to say so.Box wrote:I've just joined the site and am a bit gutted that my first post is this one. But with all that behind us with the bidding ended on that item, I think we can all say welcome to the site Box and enjoy the info found here.
Re: warm welcome...
But to be fair, guys:
Box: sorry mate, please don't take it the wrong way.
I think we've all been rubbed the wrong way here from time to time (except for me of course, I am the master of tact and eloquence) so as a gesture of goodwill I'd like to apologise to Box if their feelings were hurt in any way.Box wrote:(I) am a bit gutted that my first post is this one.

And without taking any sides, since as another
I can see both views here, I can close the loop.
I was the lucky bidder who won it, and it arrived only two days after I paid for it. Ebayer's making profit on P&P always annoys me, but the stamps on the box cost what I paid so 'happy shopper' all round.
I've had it out of the packing, but it's now in the queue for a 'Jimbo Special' to customise the colours and stickers for SAS Force, then I'll post the results on CREATIVITY forum. I've just completed work on the World Peacekeepers Blackhawk so I'll get some picks up soon (although I've done virtually nothing, since it was pretty perfect for the boys in black in its virgin state). Now with the 'Chinook' too, after 20 years Chopper doesn't know how to thank me!
Anyway, Box, mate, many thanks for the chance to own one - I've been trawling the net since I saw the picture on the Baron's site....
