Saw it Saturday, I was bored & had nothing better to do.

I felt like I was watching two different movies, G.I. Joe & the :snakes2: v :storm:, it all felt more than a little disjointed & all in all a bit hurried.

It's more true to the 80's Hama comics than the previous one, which is nice... the writers must be fans of silent interlude & other :snakes2: stories, but the whole thing has plot holes so large you could drive a truck through 'em...how did :roadblock: & co get back to the U.S? They find an air base but there's no explanation given as to how they got home undetected, did they sneak aboard in cargo or steal an aircraft? It could of been a dramatic scene in itself.

I liked the :firefly: character, even if he's more like a Dreadnok in this movie, @ least they tried some thing fresh & avoided the whole Ninja thing.

As for Bruce Willis, I felt he just sleep walked the entire movie, it's almost as if he's just done the flick to pick up a pay check.

Couldn't agree more, on both points, the cliff battle will be the bit most fans will skip to & keep & re playing when the D.V.D. is released.

The blind master was terrible, they should have done it Hama style, Snakes gives SS a communiqué implicating Zartan. Then there would be no need for the dodgy acting and the broken sword. I hope there is an extended version which fills in the plot holes, maybe they should ask Hama to do the screen play for Joe III: Cobra Island? ;-)

I've heard Chu had to cut 30 mins from the movie so I really hope we get a directors cut DVD.

I wouldn't mind them releasing a director's cut of RoC. It really bugged me that there were absolutely no extras (including the cut scenes) with that DVD...

Saw it today, absolutely loved it! There are plot holes, and quite a few things that could be explained, and some things which made no sense, but still, loads of fun, with loads of explosions and whizz bang action! The sound was quite muffled, all the dialogue was a bit mumbley...

SPOILER! Kind of...

As much as I love the super heated wire fence melting gloves, I'd be rather hesitant to use them in a night time stealth mission, what with all the glowy bits on them!

That's exactly what I thought, may as well stick a neon sign over your head saying look at me!
Not here for a long time, just here for a good time.

Then put up a Joe flag to make it convincing. Would you ride a motor bike made out of bombs? I don't think its reality, chaps.

I had a dream last night that I went to see the film and fell asleep during it, I had better go to bed now so the dream doesn't come true as I'm going to see the 2pm showing.
