yup. that's it. dead. no DTDVD follow-up, no tie-in comic or novel to wrap it up. over.

Fox were supposedly going to take into account hulu and fox.com viewing figures and DVR/Tivo numbers as well as the normal ratings, but still canned it.

probably because Dollhouse was cheaper and TSCC was more expensive.

Maybe because Salvation was getting released and they didn't tie-in together was another reason?

no. because the producers of both always said they were seperate entities.

Anyway, dollshouse??? Is it a new series by whedon then? What's the basic premise. I've spent the last week sat on various beaches and cliff tops Reading buffy series 8, and angel after the fall (excellent recommendations baron, thanks) and loved all things buffy, angel, firefly, and his work for marvel, so I'm excited about anything new!
Did Joss ever explain how Colossus came back to life Steve or are you not reading Astonishing X-Men?
Not in any that I have read yet, although my approach to reading is a little scatter gun. I get all the UK released Collectors Editions each month (including X Men, in which Collosus is alive and well, with no real explanation), and then buy occasional Trade Paperbacks of stuff that takes my interest. Currently on with the Age of Apocalyps books, having just read the classic Secret Wars on me hols. Also read Avengers v Transformers, which i thought was a bit of a waste of a very good opportunity.

Having read a lot of x-men from issue 94 onwards and even before then Chris Claremont stated Colossus does not need to eat or breathe armoured up he can sustain himself so when he injected the legacy virus into himself and armoured up he didn't need to breathe so therefore couldn't be dead over the years that got conveniently forgotten about including the issue Kitty scattered his ashes which would put a permanent end to anybody so Joss really dropped the ball as did I think Scott Lobdell with the ash scattering because they didn't research him well enough

He's not the only one who doesn't breathe!

Unaired Dollhouse finale!

http://thepiratebay.org/torrent/5009748 ... viD-REWARD

FOX paid for 13 episodes but one of them [the unaired pilot, Echo] was removed from broadcast completely, resulting in a 12-episode season. However, because the studio makes DVD's and international broadcast deals based on the original number of 13, this stand-alone episode, guest-starring Felicia Day, was created to fill the empty slot.

FOX has no plans to pay for or air the thirteenth episode, but it will air as part of the first season when broadcast in international markets.

They made a comic, DA. Angel - After the Fall printed by IDW. There was a spin-off Spike - After the Fall strip as well.

Dark Horse are publishing Buffy - Season Eight comics. Both titles are scripted by Joss Whedon.
