I loved Dollhouse. Very hard to get into as a Whedon fan, it's quite a departure for him, but it is well worth sticking with.

I won't post any spoilers.

Do you mean 'When is it on?', or 'When did I see it?
'
I downloaded each one the day after the US broadcast: https://isohunt.com/torrents/?ihq=dollhouse

Blimey! Lots goes on in a week doesn't it? Good to see this thread back on (off) track.

Anyway, dollshouse??? Is it a new series by whedon then? What's the basic premise. I've spent the last week sat on various beaches and cliff tops Reading buffy series 8, and angel after the fall (excellent recommendations baron, thanks) and loved all things buffy, angel, firefly, and his work for marvel, so I'm excited about anything new!

I remember Eliza Dushku saying she would never play a lead character in a series or film it wasn't her forte she would rather play a support role *cough* bullshit *cough*

Did Joss ever explain how Colossus came back to life Steve or are you not reading Astonishing X-Men?

Yup, it's the new Whedon! Very hard to explain without either giving too much away or not doing it justice, Steve.

The Dollhouse is a shadow organization who hire out their 'Dolls', which are essentially mind-wiped people. These operatives are programmed with the necessary personality traits for each assignment, and then wiped afterwards. Dushku plays "Echo", one of the dolls.

Essentially it gives Dushku the chance to play a different character each week, I'm a big fan of hers but even I wasn't sure she could pull it off - thankfully she does a superb job. There is also a subplot involving a cop determind to find the Dollhouse, played by Helo from BSG.

So much of the backstory unfolds along the way I really can't sum it up for you. I was dubious until episode six and then I was hooked. Having now seen them all I can recommend it as strongly as Buffy, Angel or Firefly.

sh*t, really? That was a monstrous cliffhanger, too.

Gotta say that Dollhouse is a much better show, though. I liked the Terminator main cast, but hated the second-tier lot.
