Steel Bonnet has got Muton in his possession over 6 months now. If he is not making any pictures, can he just forward and get things going?

I prevaricated on posting this update but FYI I tried emailing Steel Bonnet (and also u :baron:) abt 4 weeks ago via several emails but no reply yet.

Maybe he's over on other forums? Custom dudes any the wiser?

On that note, where's Jimbo & co.? Hoping not Mesopotamia or the road to Samarkand...

Many of our fine lads are MIA; Jonesy1275, Jimbo, Steel Bonnet, Graeme, Newswseller, Seaneley, notpicard and of course Steve himself... I suspect foul play.

Noticed the recent change in origin of new posters? It appears the British troops left the message board just in time before the US took over the place. Did our troops plan some sort of evacuation? The forum was down recently. Was that perhaps their way of scorched earth tactics?

Foul play? I suspect a conspiracy!

Our Action Force soul is being taken over by GI Joe!

ya that is really dissapointing as I belive those old long time fans who grew up with this stuff could really offer a lot to those new US fans ( I am included in that bunch ). I think they could have offered a lot of knowledge to us newbies

the UK fan and European Fans have dropped the ball here to be honest with thier lack of support for the DDPs Red Shadows when they came out a couple of years back. There was little support (or outcry for that matter) when DDP did do the Red Shadows by the UK fans and unfortunetly it has taken the Americans, picking up the ball, to get things going.

It is because of the Devils Due comic that so many new US fans are coming over here and I would hope that the old European Fans would come back too

this board is slowly becoming more active and the old time fans are needed to rear us newbies up properly! LOL

I hope the UK fans will support the US COMIC this time around, I hope the issue where Wilder Vaughn reappeared had its sales spike because of his appearance and I hope every fan here bought the issue

(and dont give me.......I live in another country thing as I live in Japan and have the same problem but I still bought it )

So do you have any idea how to get those Old European Fans back or are you just offering the little tidbit of sunshine that you are so famous for on these boards and really offering nothing to a problem ?

Yes, we should have done more to support the Red Shadow comic revival, that was a golden opportunity, and I agree the reason we have so many new US members. I think the UK old guard simply got fed up with the forum being offline for so long after it was hacked.

It is strange that they continue to remain absent though. Having pulled the community back from the brink I can't help but notice that there was far more chat at the temporary yojoe thread.

I think the lack of European support for the comic is because DDP is just another GI Joe comic: American superhero stuff that has got hardly anything to do with the European Action Force universe anymore. Red Shadows pumped up on steroids do not have much in common with the sadistic killing red nazis most of us know from the eighties. DDP only revived the name Red Shadows, not its the soul.

Because I collect Action Force I am supposed to like everything that has a red colour and a logo with white skull 'n bones? I think not. Did we, the Europeans, drop the ball or did were we smart enough not to accept counterfeit? ;)

Interesting observation, and as usual, bang on. nonetheless we won't get another opportunity for a Red Shadow rebirth any time soon.

Steering us back on topic if I may, what's the general feeling to the Travelling Muton Next Generation?
