Yeah it's all buggy again. I've not changed a thing (last time I managed to wipe the whole board!), but I'll have a proper look at it ASAP.

Well actually I only cancelled Transforce once. That was the one I had planned for this year. I actually posted on this forum a couple of times saying I'd combine AF into Transforce, but it never happened. I've certainly not ruled out the possibility of a Transforce next year, so would indeed consider this again.

Have you tried advertising in comic shops, collectors sites and shops. I am sure that most of us know people and places. Plus the sort of people who would be interested frequent comics/memrobilia shops.

cool! okay guys NOW we have a possibility, its a start, now how can we help make this a possibility

Guest SHould be ones who worked on BOTH Transformers and Action Force /GI JOE so I say:

Simon Furmon
Andrew Wildman
Geof Senior

maybe we could do an exclusive comic ???? with the RED DAWN comic I am working on? ( would have to talk to the artist on that though )

what should the theme be?

with a GI JOE/ ACTION MAN/ ACTION FORCE movie coming out next year it could be a big year and best year to do it for ACTION FORCE

I should also say again this convention needs to be ACTION MAN ACTION FORCE ( GI JOE ) and TRANSFORMERS Convention.

If you can get all 3 fandoms all together it could be very successful

and best of all Simon furman and andrew wildman has worked on ALL 3 franchises

get TITAN to show up as they are doing thier new UK comic too

anyway here is a mock up of a logo just to let people know what I am thinking

Image

I think the name is soooo perfect for a combined Transformers Action force and action man convention

be cool if we could get hasbro to let us do a quarrel figure as well too

LOL. That's exactly the logo I had on the Transforce site when it started in 1998! And I used it for the first Transforce convention in 1999

I know Simon, Andrew and Geoff so they could well attend any such event. I'm not sure I could organise this at the moment, but I'll certainly help out if others are interested. I also know Steve White (who is now editor of the current Transformers comic). I know Lew Stringer who did the Combat Colin strip (I used to run the Combat Colin website). In fact I can be in contact with most people who worked at what was Marvel UK.

LOL guess I am 10 years behind

it would be nice to find out where those pages the baron posted a few months back was suppose to go and what issue and why it never saw print.

the art was obviously done and it was definately done for Marvel UK

where is that link Baron? the one with the ebay pages there was 2 pages that was being auctioned off from a script that never saw release

this convention would be a lot of fun
