Well I know they didn't try to deliver it today, as I've been up since 0745, no van turned up and there is no 'missed delivery' card.

That's what mine are showing as, but if you stick your no in parcelforces site rather than usps it shows that they've not really 'attempted delivery' at all, cheeky sods, they've got it there in customs while they charge for it. Annoys the hell out of me - why, when it's something we can't buy in the uk, should the uk revenue get to charge value added tax on it!!! And then parcelforce charge you money for releasing the f'ing thing!!! Twats, the lot of them! It's a cartel, I tell ya!

Maybe your airports were closed which would cause delays we had no post come into work today hardly as ours was closed yesterday and part of today. Still it's my birthday on wednesday so maybe things might turn up then.

I'm in the wrong business, parcelfarce are hitting me up for £51.20.
£13.50 of that, is for 'clearance fee' so I'm paying them to deliver something that delivery has already been paid for and has cleared customs, where the rest of the costs come from, damn government!, damn parcelfarce!

well, boxset will be here tomorrow.

£68.65 is my customs charge for a boxed and loose set. f*ck! pretty much skint till the end of the month so need to see how I can avoid the parcel being returned!

have been reading up on how parcelforce charge for payment on our behalf and effectively hold the parcel to ransom till all charges are paid - its not strictly legal. obviously the charges are enforceable but their fee is a little dodgy and the fact they hold the parcel until paid is apparently illegal and they should invoice after delivery other carriers do. Not much help as im not going to go to court or press charges with the CPS as some have done! But annoying all the same...
