I don't go early to car boot sales, I have a zen like approach to them. If it was meant to be that I find something, then it was meant to be! Although having said that if I ever turned up to a boot sale and saw a smug looking bloke walking out with a Z Force base poking out of his carrier bag I may have to set fire to myself.
I think you're right about fate. In fact, I walked away from the fighter after initial negotiations and wandered around the rest of the car boot before returning to see if it was meant to be. I still couldn't get him down to £5, but got it for £6.50, which was pretty good.

8-) Stormtrooper, how tall is he? I was thinking it was a Kubrick one but, it doesn't appear to be.

He's about 7 inches (well naturally ;-) ). His arms look like they're on the wrong sides to me, but they don't seem to come off - I daren't pull too hard (I'm sure there's another innuendo there somewhere!) :-D

This is a bit of an aside, but I am also excited this week about finally completing by 1989 Long Range. I got his pistol off eBay after years of looking!
