I will have to catch it on dvd myself so I hope no one spoils the end either. Just as long as it was better than how Alias ended.
Spock, where the hell's the power you promised?

Looking forward to seeing that W.W.2 style Dalek & Spitfires in space one, as previewed @ the end of the episode

More news, as its made, from new Action Force!
Re: The Pacific and Dr Who
Couldn't agree with you more. Jeez, Heroes dropped off big time! Series two was horse sh*t. I didn't bother after that. The bit where Claire was painting her toe nails and then decided to cut her own toe off was possibly the worst scene I've ever witnessed. Utter shite.Double-tap wrote:Red Laser wrote:I am on Season 5 of Lost so I am behind with it I haven't seen Heroes since season 1.
dont watch anymore Heroes then.
i loved the first series but the rest are just pants, dirty stinky pants at that
I felt the same about 24. Series one had me hooked, completely and utterly hooked. Series two comes on and Jack's daughter is being chased by a nasty man, then in the woods by a freekin' cougar then a slightly mad nasty man....! Utter shite.
Anyway, as far as Lost goes I'm still hoping Kate, Claire and Sun decide to set up a topless car wash on the island.

episode 3, 'Victory of the Daleks'.Thundershot wrote:Looking forward to seeing that W.W.2 style Dalek & Spitfires in space one, as previewed @ the end of the episode
like i said, if you think Matt's a bit Tennant, it's hardly surprising. they're always a bit potty to start with. next few weeks should establish him a bit more...

Totally agree with T'Shot about the Victory Of The Daleks episode and the Cyberman in, I presume an Egyptian tomb look good. In fact, although I enjoyed the show, I think the trailer was the most enjoyable part.Sundance wrote:episode 3, 'Victory of the Daleks'.Thundershot wrote:Looking forward to seeing that W.W.2 style Dalek & Spitfires in space one, as previewed @ the end of the episode

Sundance is absolutely right, it will take time for things to bed in. Any new actor's got to find his feet and a bit like Daniel Craig taking over James Bond, I suspect there was some unjustified anti-Matt Smith feeling around (atleast before the show was aired) because of David Tennat's popularity.
Most adult viewers are also simply used to new Doctor's coming along and accept the transition. I'm not sure whether it's more difficult for children watching, having become very used to one Doctor (particularly as David Tennat was on the show for a long period).
Ramble over!

I agree with T'shot that the Victory Of The Daleks episode looks impressive. Hope they release a Dalk in combat gear figure. The Cyberman episode also looked like it might be good. And there's the anticipated return of the Sea Devils isn't there as hinted at when The Doctor was uploading information about his victories during the first episode.Sundance wrote:episode 3, 'Victory of the Daleks'.Thundershot wrote:Looking forward to seeing that W.W.2 style Dalek & Spitfires in space one, as previewed @ the end of the episode

And I agree with Sundance that we'lll only know what Matt Smith is really like after he's bedded in. Always going to take an actor a while to find his / her feet. I didn't follow any press about Matt Smith getting the role and no idea waht fan forum's say, but I imagine he suffered from the same anti-Matt Smith feelings that Daniel Craig had before he played Bond in Casino Royale. And look how that turned out!
