They do that. Girlfriends.
I plan to go in March too. I'm looking forward to tearing up Birmingham with the BFTB crowd.

The Innkeepers Lodge is perfectly adequate for cheap accommodation - you get what you pay for; it's clean, motel style with a Toby Carvery attached - Ed and I had a good-size very tasty carvery meal for £5 each on the Saturday night in November

If you're with Dave Tree he can organise to complain about the staff so that you don't have to pay ;)

I'm only on here at the moment as I'm on hold to Innkeepers Lodge trying to negotiate a better advanced rate while I wait for all my stock lists to print out. Multitasking!

....and I'm off hold

and the Innkeepers Lodge couldn't been less helpful

There's no "advance" rate showing for the Memorabilia weekend, only the more expensive flexible rate

Apparently all the advance rooms are gone and the call-centre are powerless to offer any other rate AT ALL or any discount AT ALL. So I said we'd go to the Travelodge and she said "fine".

don't get this with Malmaison! I haggled and they offered to reduce a suite from the advertised price of £430 to £260.

I pride myself on being a good haggler, but Innkeepers Lodge are not budging!

They still have some three-nights-for-two offers available that weekend - if you're looking at staying for two nights, check the price of three as, perversely, it can work out cheaper

Right, my stock lists have finished printing so I'm off to sort out my end of Alistair Darling's monumental VAT f*ck-up.

Happy new year, everyone!

I am hopefully going to sort things out today with my relationship I checked flight prices for less days it's more expensive which is typical. I am pissed off with the Isle of Man's attitude towards people leaving the island they seem to want to wring as much money out of us as possible for a 50 minute flight. Bastards!!!! In fact I am sure Ben from Lost is in charge here.
