So I went around to all the big Joe sites and posted that you were looking for colorist

I got sent this

Now I did edit Cobra Commanders speach taking out the mulitple ssssss as that I think is just corny and takes away from the awesome stories these tell but the rest of it was done by Shogi from the Yo Joe forums

he tried registering here but for some reason couldnt Baron can you help him? I will send you a PM if I can with his e-mail account. I have 2 other people working on another story and I gave them 3 pages each to do , so when I get them I will send them to you as well

seeing these in color makes my Jaw drop and puts a smile on my face

Please everyone go over and thank shogi for doing this he is busy and doesnt have time and says it takes about 3 hours to do one page so thank him thank him thank him

OMG!!! Utterly superb!!! Thankyou!!!

There's a list as long as my arm of people trying to get in now, all of the PMing is being done over at yojoe. Unfortunately the only one who can sort it (and the PM) is Steve, who's busy moving house.

Not sure about removing the sssss'ssss though, if I was the writer I'd be a bit annoyed I feel.

But hey, if he feels like doing the rest of the site... LOL. Maybe he could post a hints and tips tutorial and we could all get in on it?

thats exactly what I said , I was laughing out loud for joy on how good it looked and how much it made me appreciate and like the story more!

He did a great job on it

I totally understand somepeople not likeing that but I am just thinking from a Marketing standpoint, I felt when I read it I was laughing at myself and I knew others would be too so taking it out it just to help modernized, and fit it in better with the mainstream GI JOE stuff

again its all to draw more fans to these great stories that have been written.

For my own personnal use I change all the Major Flaggs to General Austin too , it just looks alot more like him than the General Flagg of the USA,

Work in progress

Okay so that no one else is doing the same issues as I am trying to get peopel to do, LOL that is if by chance anyone is LOL, I thought we should cordinate our efforts

so for anyone out there I have 3 people now working ( hopefully ) on these two stories

1. Revenge of the Red Shadows
2. Showdown for the shadows

now taking a cue from Shogi who did the wonderful page abover I thought I could take a stab at the backgrounds. Its taken me basically all day as i have NO photoshop ( wish I did) or any special kind of program but here it is.

I thought that if we all could do something similar on a few pages each , then when we are lucky enough to find a person like Shogi he can work on the more difficult stuff and we can get the easy stuff done and he can finish it quicker!

OK we NEED this forum working again, I've e-mailed Steve asking for more mod power to get the newbies in and the PMs working.

I'm really stoked about this, if we can get a bunch of people on this at once we could do the whole set.

For those wanting to catch up: http://forums.yojoe.com/showthread.php? ... post252981

Jamar you can get most apps from http://www.isohunt.com

As for which stories to do first, well for me it has to be the Shadow era but maybe we could set up some kind of poll? (with less than 100 options though...)

BLOOD FOR THE BARON!!! :baron:

Great stuff on the colour work!!!!

Looking forwards to seeing Ironblood come back in all his glory.

But at the moment, to try and get some interrst from across the Atlantic, I'm happy to see Cobra Commander slithering into colour.

I reackon the ssss should stay though, may be a little corny, but they add to the experience of Action Force before it went all Marvel.

But these colour sheets are looking fantastic.
