Special guest, actor Kurt Kesel, gets onto the scenario to announce the arrival of Rookie.

In a vanity gesture, he takes his mask off (don't worry, he's Edenian, not St Cookian).
Kurt: Now, in their first performance without Chelsie Peterson, Rookie!

Chelsie is going to marry Blaine and move to St Cookie (the Rookie band is Edenian), so she will leave Rookie and pursuit a solo career.
Max can't play because the tracks are still recorded, but at least he can instruct Blaine how to do it.
