I have the Falcon, X wing and vintage Speeder bike. My son has Slave 1, Republic gunship and a Jedi Starfighter. He also has a few figures that made me cry when he opened them. One was the Gunship door gunner (a necessary item). Annoyingly a year later a Clone Wars version was released that was far from rare. Little bugger tore my MOC Darth Vader open too. He was a spare with coin and I intended to keep him MOC. I still have a few vintage figures too, tho not near as many as I had

And I'm off to Science Works Star Wars exhibition tomorrow. Woohoo. In the Toyota we must fly......

Modeller's loft in Caterham have at least two of the Royal Starships, but at £110 they can keep them.

I didn't even start to seriously collect any of the "new" Star Wars, I've got a few that appeal to me, but they just don't have the charm of the vintage Kenner figures for me.

Toys r Us have reduced the price of the large Millenium Falcon toy I noticed during my visit today...still very expensive, even @ half price!

You can get them much cheaper, I saw one go for £55, it was opened but thats a considerable saving. People tend to over estimate the value of the modern stuff quite badly.

I remember a few years back the POTFII Tauntaun with Han Solo was going for £100+, now its less than half that for a minty minty version.

I'm thinking that a lot of "speculators" got thier finger burnt with the newwer Star Wars toys

Was they such a rush, in America, for the Joe movie toys as they was for Phanton Menace stuff back in '99? ( ten Years already?!)
