I always delete everything after reading: PM, mail, sms, whatever. Only for pending trades I tend to keep it on file, but the moment the trade is settled I delete everything. Strange habit, but it was drilled in at the training.
I am still missing a button "select all" in the PM section to delete a lot of messages in one go.

You are still living with your mother, so you are well taken care of.

I actually got told to "go and clean your room" for the first time in 14 years yesterday!
Admittedly it was said in jest by The Intended, after I spilled dremmel filings all over the carpet, but still took me back! I instantly started to try to think of excuses not to, and working out the logistics of whether I could climb out of the window to go and play with my mates, but as the Toy Room is on the 2nd Floor I thought I'd best not.

Plant a tree outside the window, in five years you'll be able to climb down it and sneak out at night!

Yeah, the Mark All button doesn't work for me either. It may be the forum skin.
I have 83 pages of old PMs.

I have been known to "not do it right" with the ironing on purpose, so the better half irons my shirts, in somewhat of a huff! Cant do it too often though, or she will see through the elaborate ruse!

Tis an old ruse, steeped in tradition, handed down by Fathers to impending Husbands for centuries. An honourable tradition, indeed. My missus hates me doing the dishes, for some reason I'm crap at it, that and the ironing. If she moans about it I just ask her to go drop the oil from the car for me. Strangely she's never done it.
As far as trifle goes, I thought at LJ's house you might find it crammed in many different orifices. Toasters inclusive.
