Do you want to hear about creeping children? My sis is planning to, if she has children some day, tell them that Santa Claus and the Boogeyman are one and the same, so they never ask for Santa to come at Christmas and she not having to buy gifts!

I used to have a few Spanish flamenco dolls, brought back by a friend from her yearly holidays in Spain. They seemed impossibly exotic to me, a child of seven who had never been further than Penzance. In fact, they still seem exotic to my thirty year old, non-passport holding self.

I also had a couple of Dutch dressed dolls, presents from my Scottish ranny who lived in Holland for years. I think they may still be in my parents' cavernous loft.
