Isn't Pommy the name of a Charabom in Bomberman?

Yes, the game. Pommy first appeared in Bomberman 64 The Second Attack as a sort of pet sidekick to Shirobom (AKA Bomberman, the main chara). Pommy could be controlled by the CPU or a second player. Shortly later, in a GBC game that was also the debut of Max (Shiro's friendly rival), one had to collect charaboms, Pokémon-like creatures, and one of them was Pommy.

PS: Since I'm talking about Bomberman, I'll take the chance to tell everybody here to watch the Bomberman Jetters anime on YouTube. It's a very good and funny series.
