That's what I thought, but I'm not finding it on Wikipedia, just the Commander Cody shows.

Maybe it was Rocketman or something.

Baron, you mean COMMANDO Cody. Commander Cody is Obi-Wan's Stormtroopers' commander whose name was indeed based on Commando Cody.

Commander Codys was an homage to the original Commando Cody wasnt he? I know George Lucas was a big fan of those old shows...

Yay! If anyone wants a copy of some of these shows I can supply one... I believe anyone can knock them out as the copyright lapsed...

There also were the Marvel Super Heroes series. They are from the '60s, but they arrived to Chile during the '80s so I saw them as a child.
Showing all the openings would be too long, so there are the "big three" Avengers, Captain America first, of course:

Can't remember the title, but in the very early days of Channel 4, I used to watch a comedy adventure show...I'm sure it was about a man & women traveling around the world on a big Harley Davidson bike, in search of something or somebody, & used the Elvis recording of Guitar Man as the theme tune, with other Elvis tracks used during the programme as background music.

I recall one line two Arab Sheik princes are welcoming the couple to there country...
1st bro:'"Welcome to our humble parts!"
2nd bro: "My brother speaks for himself,.. my parts are not so humble as his!"
