TF skins for Quake? If the enemies were changed for Waspinator, that could be the game Rattrap played in a BW episode...

Transformers Quake 2 is largely multiplayer, however the current coder's working on SP as well.
current enemies:
Starscream/Skywarp/Thundercracker - Guards
Brawl - Beserker
Soundwave - Gunner
Megatron - Jorg rider boss
Bruticus - Makron boss
Laserbeak - Flier
Ramjet - Icarus
Thrust - Enforcer
Shockwave - Gladiator
the next version will also include Ravage replacing the Parasite and replacements for the Iron Maiden and Medic.
the player can play as any Autobot from those available and transform, drive/fly etc. around.
multiplayer features a class-based system where the player can transform and use abilities such as flying, driving or unleashing mass destruction.

What's wrong with firing lasers out of their fists anyway? Yes some names weren't great but Hasbro had Bob Budiansky from Marvel name the Transformers Bandai didn't have anyone like that.

It is original and imaginative Sundance it would be boring if everything that came out brandished a weapon or does everything in your eyes have to be that way?

if it's a war toy, it needs a weapon. whether that's a firearm or a melee weapon. war toys without weapons are stupid.

I just like the "Matchbox" toy car feel that a lot of Machine-Robo's (not using the "G"word) have...
They originaly began life as a cheap puzzle toy for kids in 1982, not a war toy, & on that level I feel that some (not all) are great little pieces of simple yet clever design.
The other thing I like is the fact that this particular toy turns into a British army Saladin armoured car, a subject that Hasbro/Takara, & in fact a lot of toy companys, would never of considered.
As I'm also interested in old military vehicles as well as toy robots, this guy links to the two subjects I love together nicely.
If Habro ever released a Transformer that had an Alvis Stalwart alt' mode I'd be 1st in line to purchase one!!!
Que the "But all Gobots suck" response...

for all the 'robots in disguise' business, i often thought as a teen, that it was silly that there were so many that transformed in to high-performance sports cars. and military vehicles.
and seriously, a space shuttle? and WTF was that thing Onslaught transformed into? a flatbed truck with a gun turret on the back. mm, cunning disguise there!
