Fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuck! That's absolutely brilliant! Another awesome custom from Andy!! Brilliant work as ever. Being a ham-fisted twat with so many fingers bent back playing Rugby to count, I certainly couldn't do what you do Andy. This is another example of a great custom, and in fact any great piece of art, a good idea executed well. Keep the customs coming Andy, this is why I come to visit BFTB every evening. Well, unless 'Girls of the Playboy Mansion' is on the telly.

far better scale.
If you look at the original Action Man one it isnt really scaled very well, I know there are limits to how big you can make a toy but realisticly it should have been twice the size..ish
thats why I struggled to figure out how big to make this one, on one hand it looks too big for AF but on the other its not big enough ? curiouser and curiouser .....
I think someone has said before that the Action Man one was a better size for AF ?

I did once see a base for the modern Action Man in a charity shop I am wondering now if that could have been cut down for the AF figures

Yeah, I've seen similar cases in other toylines: In Transformers, Trypticon, the city, was merely the size of a bunker; in MOTU, the Wind Raider, which could carry 3 guys and a tiger in TV, was a toy that could carry just one figure (well, in that case, the toy came first).

This has to be your tour de force, Andy! I'm stunned!
Reharding scale I like a happy medium. The new "accurate scale" BBI (?) stuff is enormous, and has zero play-factor for me. Somebody was once on about taking two Chap Mei Chinooks and extending the body for accuracy. That may well be cool but it would destroy it as a toy by making it unwieldy IMO. I like a toy that captures the essence of the real life original but can be picked up and moved around by a kid. I'd say you've achieved that here.
Needs

stickers, though!

Cheers Baron, I kind of gave up on the scaling thing and just tried to make it look "right".
I agree that it needs a few AF logos ..... why didnt I think of that earlier ? I thought it looked a little plain.
