will you be able to display all those eddie??

i want to be able to display all my toys instead of them hiding in boxes, thats why i'm looking rid of some of the larger stuff.
i think i have enough room for most of my figs tho.
need to free up some cash for a few more units/shelves-cant wait :-D
I should do, the new house has opened up some opportunities i've been allocated an entire bedroom for the collection and it's a fair sized room, i haven't brought the display units yet but i'd like units that are tall as the room has high ceilings. So i should be able to cram it in.

Dear sweet Eddie! Some of us have already been standing where you are now... on the brink of greatness. Then, before you know it Snake Eyes has been replaced by Baby Pom Fimble, Tomax & Xamot become Big Cook, Little Cook and Baron Ironblood has got the elbow by Makka Pakka!
How long before the lure of little Eddies and little Annies becomes too strong? I would suggest you put your penis up for trade ......quick.

If the figure has a codename, one is sufficient for me. Troopers are for troop building, the only good guys I have more than one trooper of is Z Force. Just a matter of availability and unless a sweet job lot comes along I won't bother until I have them all..... Bwahahahahahaha. 16 to go now...Sorry. Then I'll worry about building troops, Z troopers, SAS troopers, Shads, Grunts and Cobra's. The rest... just one. Because otherwise it just looks daft. Ala 2 Emperors? Silly idea.

Cobra Troopers I have 3 original and 4 cb guys, 2 officers and 2 cb officers/nco's. Can't remember which is which because they are all canon fodder. 2 little shads so far too.

Oh, and the later MAF era guys I'm only interested in 1 of everything. Not fussed about troop building them and they aren't included in my final 16 either. They are just Candy, the AF's are meat and potatoes.

I also try to keep myself with only one of each named character... but there are some difficulties:

1)When I find a character you lacked in a pack with a character/characters I already had. That happened to me when I got a second :storm: to get :firefly: , and a second Shipwreck to get :copper: . Also, I wanted the 25th ann Iron Grenadier to keep him accompanying the original one. Therefore, repeated :destro: .

2)I can also be tempted by some specific versions of characters; my first :cobracommander: was the Batlle Armor one. Some time later, I found the hooded one and bought him because of his classic appearance. More time later, I found McDonalds' VvsV :cobracommander: . Well, my favourite appearance of :cobracommander: was with the helmet, so... now I also have a :cobracommander: who comes in an helicopter. So many :cobracommander: ! Mos of time, I try to keep myself controlled and await the "wanted" version of a character to come in a pack with a character I lack

3)A repeated character can also come in a load. I think I have mentioned that before.

Most of time, I try to give an use to all versions of a same character. For example, sailor Shipwreck is him when he's on the USS Flagg or driving a hovercraft, while the diver Shipwreck is him when he is going to... dive, duh. However, there are some difficult cases, like :destro: or :duke: .

I have one :baron: and one :major: , the rest I army build. As there is such a limited range I have made customs of the character figs, ie I now have nine :wolf: and a single Black Wolf. I did a smiliar thing with :eagle2: . I took a :hotjets: head and made :eagle: . I can now army build :eagle2: as unfortunately :attack: are hard to come by in comparison. I intend to customise each squad leader for this reason. Next up will be a straight-arm :skip: , still haven't decided on :levi2:

Ratios aren't really my thing, but I seem to have most of my troops in quantities divisible by 3. Weird.

Divisible by 3..... weird man. I'm not that keen on newer versions of older figures either. I do have 1 Roadblock v1, 2 v2's and now a v3, not tried but just ended up that way. They just look odd standing beside each other. The only true original versions are v1.5's imho.
