i've started something i must finish now, i've got 36 troopers and intend to get around the 100 mark. I have no reason for wanting to do this but it'll look pretty cool.

i know selling them is a problem, but if i find somewhere to mold them, we could all pool together & get a batch made?
i know it's not the same as vintage shads, but it would be ok for army building wouldnt it?

My bro-in-law is a die maker, has his own business. I've broached the question with him before and he seems to think it isn't tricky. He has machines which can duplicate near anything. Only problem is he is a slack prick and things will take a heap of time to finish. Especially as the economic climate here for such professions is sh*t house. Most die making jobs going to China etc. His offsider is a picky bugger and as fussy as I've ever seen, so the results could be pretty good.

I've not mentioned it before because he is REALLY slack and it will have to be done between paying jobs, if at all. Tho he reckons about $1500au for a mold. If it was a paying job it would be done a lot faster. Pooling could work, I'll ask him for a few details about the job if anyone is interested let me know.
