The Imperial Shuttle that was re-issued in 2006 is (apart from the re-deco and lack of electronics) the same mold as the 1984 version I believe. It even has a Kenner products 1984 copyright on the bottom (so Hasbro couldn't be bothered be bothered to change it!), so by rights, parts from the new shuttle should fit the old one. Been doing the opposite thing the last few months fixing up a 1995 Falcon with 1970/80s parts! Well done though, this blows my boxed Castle Greyskull and Snake Mountain found at a charity shop in 2003 for £2 out of the water!Shaunyboy wrote:That's a damn good point. I wonder if the new one has the same size components as the original 1984 version I now have? They probably used the same mold!?! Mind you they are about £70 in Toys R Us aren't they?SPEC OPS wrote:nice find, am not a SW fan either, aside from my kiddie collection, but that is an awesome ship. even the new one in TRU still amazes me, and the box is huge.
the other nice SW vehicle is the newly scaled Falcon, which they had on play display at John Lewis!- needless to say I made sure it was worth them putting it out!
btw Shaun, which boot did you goto?
I go to every car boot in Bucks, Herts and Berks that I can fit in. The one I get the most from is the James Bone car boot (Stablebridge Road (off A41), Aston Clinton, Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire)
Wait a minute.. are you going to go and scoop up all the bargains? Damn it.. I should have kept quiet about it all!
