Leaving feedback should be compulsory in my opinion.

Ive sold loads of things which I havent received feedback for.

Personally when i receive something in the post I leave feedback the same day to let the seller know i have received it and all is well.

Has anybody tried the new "print-your-own" postage labels? That could be a major relief, although I'm not sure if you still have to queue to hand over the items for postage (assuming they're too big for the letterbox).

Claim will be going in soon!

I agree Andy, i've not had feedback for loads of stuff i've sold, and i have no idea whether the items have arrived or not.

I will only leave feedback once the buyer has, so that i know they are happy.

personally i think the seller should leave feedback as soon as they receive payment, thats all you are leaving feedback for, why wait? it shouldnt matter if the buyer is happy. seller leaves 1st.

i disagree, but we all have our opinions.

I like to know that the buyer is happy, quite often you get buyers who will leave negative feedback without emailing the seller to let them know there is a problem first.

Rather than trying to discuss and sort out the problem, they just leave negative feedback.

Again thats just my view. If the case of the ASP that i am talking about, i havent left the seller negative feedback yet, and have emailed him numerous times. Once a claim goes through and i still dont hear from the seller then i will leave negative feedback.

i can totally see your point, but @ the end of the day the sellers feedback is just about payment, not if your happy with the feedback they leave you.

sorry, but wrong. feedback must be left once transaction is complete. While I may have received feedback, I'm not going to prematurely leave positive feedback for item may not arrive, buyer get's threatening or abusive etc etc.

Once the seller has made payment, they have fulfilled their end of the bargain. Anything that happens after that is not the sellers fault.

I always take it as a sign of good faith when I receive positive feedback before my purchase arrives.
