The end of SILENT RUNNING makes me cry, eben though it is (sort of) upbeat - The dome drifting off into space with the little robot watering the plants... My lip's trembling just thinking about it.
And Bruce Dern should have let the 'injured' robot go in the dome too instead of blowing it up with him... the git. Never have such boxy little machines invoked such sympathy....

tCrying over a pile of nuts and bolts? Materialistic, are we? Droids are nothing more than consumers goods with funny eyes stuck on them.

:muton: " What the .........."

Seriously, need to find a torrent for Silent Running and Black Hole as well. It's been ages since I've seen those.

There we go, I knew it was on there somewhere:-

Image

Also, if anyone is interested (and sorry to thread jack)- these are from my "to sell" lot - going to Ebay in the next few weeks:-

Image

Again, picure is rather blurry I'm afraid. If anyone is interested let me know and I'll do some better pics.

This is the "For Sale" Max:-

Image

They are pretty rare - tend to go for around the £50 mark.

And in case anyone is wondering - the card difference is that the US cards had Blue design, Italian and Canadian had the yellow. Series 2 (Old BOB, Humanoid & STAR) were only released on Italian & Canadian.

Image

Decided to sell my Italian as I've realised at £200 plus for an Old Bob, and ludicrous amounts for a Humanoid, I'll never get series 2, so drawing a line under it after Series 1 of the US carded.

And there endeth todays lesson in the Black Hole. Maybe if Disney have a warehouse somewhere with a load of carded Old BOBs and Humanoids they could flog them off and the film may finally break even!

The only modern figures I've ever gone mad for - they are ace! You'll love the geek room once I've finished Chopper - G Force play a prominent role!

Geeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee Foooooooooooooooooooorrrrrrrrrce!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

(did the ones you are watching have 7-Zark-7 in them? If you can track them down watch the original dubbed Japanese ones with out him - crazy music set anime style fighting instead of an annoying whining robot. Gatchaman!!!)
