And dont mention Jonsey the cat he got some good people killed in the first one haha

I don't know if it's the same set as yours, this was a metallic embossed green box set that I bought probably around 2003/ 2004? Unless yours is the deluxe set :)

If you have it, watch it, like I said, there is ropey footage, but if you watch the intro, they give a lot of background at how troubled the production of the film was and how the original director walked out. What they try and piece together is the version he originally envisioned. Does make it a better and more captivating film. :)
I did think it was a far better version, except for that one scene where the cartoon/CGI alien ran down the corridor after bursting out of the bull.

I quite liked Vasquez, did she secretly have something going with gorman ?

They seem quite close when they die together in the vent.

where I do a lot of collectors shows, there's been a lot of Aliens guests in the past year and Vasquez was one of them.

The Company lady who reads Ripley's file in Aliens when she is trying to give her version of events was looking at my t-shirts at a show in Coventry......and she looks exactly the same - scary.

I actually had the pleasure of dinner with Terry English back in November, who made all the armour for the Marines and the company soliders seen in Alien3. Lovely guy, mad as a hatter.

Yeah she said to him before they died "you always were an asshole gorman" but he was a new lt so she might have been seeing him secretly???
Or was she seeing Drake too??

he's never done any shows, but seen a lot of his stuff, all very sexual and very dark too.

As for the woman, no she wasn't, but Dirk Benedict was there and he spent more time out back through the dealer entrance smoking cigars than he did in the show signing autographs. I had to go out to the van and pick up some more stock and had a chat with him in the rain. The show was dead and I think he was going to either fire his booking agent, or never do a Showmasters event ever again.

ok heres a question ........

after the first Alien movie Ripley is left floating in space for 50 years or something ......

How come the day after she is found/salvaged all the sh*t kicks off on the colony ?

was that just a coincidence ?

Yeah it's because ripley tells them that they found an alien craft on that planet and Burk sends a message to the colonists to go check it out, because she brings it up when she starts going mad at him.
