I have a pretty large "new era" Star Wars collection, but I'm not actively collecting. I also have about half the vintage Star Wars line of figures loose.

Besides GI Joe, I have been actively collecting several other lines for some time now:

Masters of the Universe - vintage loose and 20XX MOC. I have the complete set of loose vintage figures, so I'm starting to go after vehicles. I only need 4 figures to have the 20XX series complete. It's currently my #2 collection behind Joes.

MASK - have the first three series loose
Centurions - have all 3 good guys loose
Crystar - have all but Feldspar MOC
Remco Mini Monsters - have all loose and 2 MOC
Visionaries - have all but Dagger Assault loose and all but Capture Chariot MOC/MIB
Clash of the Titans - have them all loose, looking for MOC
Legend of the Lone Ranger - have all loose, and all but Butch Cavendish MOC

I also have a lot of toys from various lines from my childhood that I don't actively collect:

Dungeons & Dragons
Bravestarr
MASH
Dukes of Hazzard
Battlestar Galactica
Sectuars
Starriors
Zorro
Voltron
Dragonriders of the Styx
Bugmen of Insecta

Man, I need a bigger toy room......

Dont suppose you have any spare weapons or Kraken bits do you? My loose figs are limited to hand to hand combat with the Kraken at the moment. And even though my Kraken has no tail, and is missing two arms, that's still not a fair fight!

MOC prices are crazy aren't they?

Respect for the MOTU collection and MASK. They were both on the Agenda for me but MOTU MOC take up way too much room, and I'm having to ease of collections for a while, so I'm sticking with my childhood collection of MASK for time being. I still regret selling my old MOTU collection when I was a young lad - sixty quid I got for it, which I seem to remember went towards a new BMX. Ahhh, the glorious 80's....

Unfortunately, I don't have any Kraken parts. You're right on the MOC prices. I was set to bid on a complete set of the line (4 figs, Kraken, Pegasus, and the Perseus/Pegasus 2 pack) on EBay about six months ago, but it went beyond my price range and ended at almost $US 700. Later, I really did some research and found that individual figures sell at $50-70 each, the Kraken can bring almost $200 and the other items between $50-100...so that was only a small premium for getting them all at once.

My HeMan collection simply can't grow any more until I get more space...those vehicles are HUGE. My saddest memory of childhood (at least now looking back it is) was selling my complete Eternia playset for something like $10 at a garage sale....it now sells for $700-900 loose and complete !!!

Man - I never even knew they did an Eternia playset, and I was a huge fan of He Man back in the day. Any pictures or links to have a look?

A few photos of the start of my old collection in this other thread:-

I really do struggle not to get started collecting them again, but as you say, they are so huge! I think I may just get a He Man, Battlecat and Skeletor for old times sakes though (I can detect a "Cylons" situation coming on....)

Sorry - i was being rather lazy there wasn't I? Thanks Baron.

And the Eternia playset looks ace - It looks like it links up to Snake Mountain and Castle Greyskull?

Man, I can feel my spare room becoming even more full in the years to come.

That was exactly the concept. All together, it made a mega-playset that was about 8 1/2 feet across. Eternia is so darn expensive because (1) it was huge, (2) it has a ton of small and easily lost parts, and (3) the track that the tram runs on is extremely fragile and is almost always broken on the ones you see for sale.

The only He Man playset I have re-acquired as an adult collector has been Castle Greyskull....and I only bought it because it came complete with original box and I got it for only $30 including shipping....too good of a deal to pass up!
