Actually this is something I need to find out for something completely separate, so if anyone can help, that would be really cool.

I have no idea how they'll take to plastics, but I used to use Acrylics when painitng my leather jacket for that very reason.

the plasitkote spray paints are quite flexible... i use satin or real red and I have a custom sculpt helmet ive been hollowing out a bit more and when it gets hot it flexes like crazy with no cracks...

How did acrylics take to that?

I'm looking for something that will not only flex, but also bond to rubber.

They're perfect, and bloody lovely paints to use. But obviously a leather jacket has far more wear than a toy, so it will deteriorate quicker. I used to use hairspray as a makeshift varnish, and recoat it every few months. There will always be inherent creases in the leather that will resurface no matter what you do. Otherwise I'd suggest experimenting with spray paints. I got some on a pair of jeans once and it never came off no matter how much I wore or washed them.

I similarly spray painted a pair of jeans (on purpose though - I was going through one of those stages), and the buggers would still have the graphics on now if I could ever shoehorn my significantly expanded ass into them. Same with my leather jacket - the Dead Kennedys logo on the back of that was indestructible I think. If, as Heroes is seeming to suggest, the world does explode, all that shall remain will be a bit of rubble and that jacket with the DK logo!

Just a brief note to say that the yellow is Humbrol Gloss 69 for those who don't use the sprays.
Incidentally 'Gloss 69' seems a good name for band..
