Re: GI Joe Movie
I really enjoyed the movie. It was cheesy as hell and I laughed my ass off through most of it. Can't wait to get it on DVD.
Re: GI Joe Movie
Anybody know when this is scheduled for? I've not seen the film yet, so am quite looking forward to it!action-figure-supplies wrote: Can't wait to get it on DVD.

November 3rd, according to Wiki. Not sure if that's worldwide or US though.

Re: GI Joe Movie
I assume it will be Region 1 as they tend to get dvd releases earlier than Region 2 areas.

UK release is 7th December for both DVD and Blu-ray. Preordered mine on Blu-ray the other week when they became available.
Really looking forward to watching it again.

Re: GI Joe Movie
I want to see what extras they put on it especially deleted scenes as I saw on facebook Larry Hama was in the film in a generals uniform which got cut out and other parts that were in the book but not the released film. Does anyone know if 7th December is the release date for Resolute as well?

Hama was in the movie, you just don't see him particularly clearly as he's in the front row of the generals at McCullen's NATO briefing and they don't show him in a close-up or anything...

Larry posted a video on facebook about his views on writing the Marvel comic as well as views from stephen(?) beatty a fill-in writer and clips of ROC it looked like he had a few lines not just a sit down part.Sundance wrote:Hama was in the movie, you just don't see him particularly clearly as he's in the front row of the generals at McCullen's NATO briefing and they don't show him in a close-up or anything...

Re: GI Joe Movie
yeah, i read on wikipedia that he had a scene with Hawk and McCullen, but i also saw a behind the scenes thing talking to him and he was in the briefing scene, sat at the front, as - basically - an extra. AFAIK, he is in the movie in the briefing scene, just hard to pick out.
